We (Kevin and Steph Sadler) are the sole owners and operators of Sadler Reptiles LLC. We have both been animal lovers for as far back as we can remember and throughout the years of our friendship, our interest in reptiles increased. After our marriage, we decided to expand our collection of Crested and Gargoyle Geckos and begin breeding in order to share our love of these geckos with others.
We take great pride in our facility and work hard to ensure consistently high standards. Our geckos are beloved pets and we breed for quality not quantity. We observe every gecko daily and health/weight records are available for all breeders and hatchlings.
Our geckos are all kept in simplistic setups. Paper towels are our substrate of choice and all tanks are furnished with several varieties of silk plants, bendable vines, and branches. Adults are kept in 1:1 or 0:2 (with males housed separately) groups and are housed in ventilated 80 quart clear plastic tubs. Hatchlings are kept in smaller clutch-specific 20 or 30 quart clear plastic tubs with silk plants and egg crate for hides. All enclosures are regularly and meticulously cleaned. A bowl of fresh water is kept in every tank at all times and we also spray our geckos at least once a day. We do not use any additional light or heating as our gecko room ranges from 68-76 degrees F (the lower temperature occurring at night) and is well lit from windows. We do not begin breeding until an optimal adult weight is reached and every active breeder has a cooling period of at least five months. Any new animals brought into our facility are quarantined away from our collection for at least 30 days.
If you contact us by email we will try our hardest to get back to you within 24 hours. If you have a problem with your shipment, would like to place an order, or have a general health/safety question about your new pet you can reach us at (443) 418-5970. Please try to call between the hours of 6am and 10pm EST.
A note on our photography: We strive to photograph each and every gecko as accurately as possible. We feel that the photos we put on this site best represent the actual color of the animal. All photographs are property of Sadler Reptiles. Please do not use them without permission.
